After the Apostles escaped from prison, the Jewish authorities took them back into custody. The Sanhedrin reminded the Apostles that they had been ordered not to preach in the name of Yeshua. However, the Apostles had been commanded by God Himself to preach about Yeshua, and that was a higher authority. Peter said they had to obey God rather than men.
