Herod Agrippa I started to persecute the Church. The Church was becoming more and more unpopular with the Jewish people in general, so Herod had James, one of the twelve Apostles, put to death by the sword. This execution was a crowd-pleaser, so, to wrap up the Passover holiday, Herod arrested Peter and planned Peter's execution. Will Peter suffer the same fate as James?
