Series: Acts - Part 4

How does God's power work when Yeshua, the leader of the Church, is no longer there? The book of Acts seeks to answer this question by giving the history of the early Church. The Church broke from Judaism as a system, but not from Israel as a nation - Acts nowhere discounts the promises made to Israel and at the end of the Acts narrative the Church was still heavily Jewish in character. Yet, Acts explains how the Church expanded to international scope with the inclusion of Gentiles as equals. The Messiah is the Lord of Israel, but also the Hope of all.
