Acts 16:16-40
Paul and team arrive in the city of Philippi. There weren’t enough Jewish men to have a synagogue so on the Sabbath Paul and Silas go to the riverside where a group of women were gathered to pray. They teach them about Yeshua. Lydia and some of her household become believers. She invites the missionaries to her home. It doesn’t take long before the missionaries encounter antagonism. There is a demonic encounter. The shackles are loosened for the slave girl, but Paul and Silas are thrown in jail. What happens next?
